Various award ceremonies
There were several anniversaries and award ceremonies during the Trade Fair Aalsmeer, including celebrations of anniversaries such as Decorum's 25th anniversary and Kolster's 80th anniversary. Several awards were presented, including The Glass Tulip Award, Dutch Flower Group Award and Greenovation Award.
Glass Tulip Award
The Glass Tulip Award, which rewards the best market introduction in five categories, was presented to growers who have worked for years on innovative products. There were no less than two awards per category; The jury award and a public award! There was a lot of voting for the audience awards, as many as 3,460 times! Greenovation Award
The Greenovation Award emphasises sustainable production and products. The jury praised the Silphie plant, also known as The Sun Crown, for its contribution to soil improvement and biodiversity.
