Innovation and novelties are important for our floriculture sector. That is why Royal FloraHolland annually presents the Glazen Tulp Award for the best market introduction. The application is open again, so do you have a new product the world should know about? Then apply! You can do so until 15 June 2024.

During a festive ceremony at Trade Fair Aalsmeer in November, the Glass Tulip Awards will be presented in five categories: Cut Flowers, Plants Indoor Flowering, Plants Indoor Green, Plants Outdoor and Concepts. Do you doubt whether your product meets the requirements? Here are the requirements.

What is a novelty?
A novelty is a new product that has not been marketed before. We apply the following criteria:
- The product preferably has a new VBN code
- The product has the right quality (A1)
- There is no turnover yet
- The product is available
- It is a different or new product, for example with a new leaf or a different flower structure, shape or inflorescence.
- You are a (member) leader of Royal FloraHolland

Do you have such a product? Then register your novelty using the application form below and stand a chance of winning a Glass Tulip Award. Do this before 15 June 2024. Novelties registered after 15 June will compete for the Glazen Tulp 2025/2026.
