What is the Greenovation Award?
Sustainable production and sustainable products are increasingly the norm: the international consumer expects sustainability. Producers and traders are aware of its importance. Royal FloraHolland stimulates sustainable developments in the chain and has therefore created the Greenovation Award in 2018. In this way, Royal FloraHolland provides an extra platform for sustainable developments.

A consortium of Levoplant, Ter Laak, Opti-flor and Solvent Engineering has therefore developed Potweb: the solution for environmentally friendly control of potworm in the cultivation of Phalaenopsis orchids.

Winner 2021 - Bernhard Plant Nursery
'Being a winner makes it easier to get your foot in the door with innovative suppliers,' says Bram Bernhard. The Elegant Phalaenopsis line is a completely sustainably grown butterfly orchid. One of the first growers to use geothermal heat to heat its greenhouses.
